I'll usually do what I can, however if its a favour, freebie or customisation thats not being paid for on top of the price of the basic tune, it'll take longer and i'll work on it when I can, please don't ask me to do you and favour, not pay for my time, and then ask for me to expedite it as well. Unfortunately I do have other work !
I charge $250 per hour for software engineering services, it takes me a minimum of three hours to do custom work, which includes setup and me not being able to do something else.
If you want it within a certain time frame,lots of telephone support, frequent updates etc, then please expect to pay for that.
I rarely accept the 'well if you do my car , you can do X's cars, so do mine cheaper' etc, its all flat rate, since i never know what will happen, the cars are often different, and people still want it to be customised, the tunes aren't always transferable between models. etc.
